Tuesday afternoon about 1445 I heard someone give out a drill announcement on 411. Didn't hear who it was. But thery said switch too the "Fusion Channel" ? Not a MidAmerican Energy one. The fusion channel was not repeated over the site I was listening to (System 1 - Davenport)

Also last week I was hearing several Waterloo area TGs (Police-Fire-EMS & Lifecom/Aircare) patched to the statewide CAP Iowa Wing TG of 303. Anyone else?

That drill you heard was up here in Buchanan County. It was a terrorism drill that encompassed several groups including Iowa Task Force 1(urban search and rescue), Cedar Rapids bomb squad, National Guard, FBI out of CR, LEIN task force based out of the Fusion center in Indpendence, Buchanan County sheriff, state patrol, buchanan county fire and ems personnel and the buchanan county amateur radio club. I'm sure there were others involoved just can't remember them all.
The talkgroup of 411 I had listed as the LEIN Fusion Alerting System. Basically an all call channel for LEIN personnel. They then went to the Fusion talkgroup (1993) which is digital.
The amateur radio club provided supplemental communications between the EOC, mobile command trailer, Red Cross station, IC, EMA, and the local hospital. We also operated a few of the RACOM radios that were either on "Disaster" channel (unknown digital talkgroup) and on the Region 6 hospital channel.

Would be able to pick up RACOM's 411 TG here in Madison County, NE.
Thanks! Rob.

I heard the Medical Center doing a rollcall on one of the IA Public Health Alerts talkgroups. So I guess that was related too. Thanks.
