These are the only frequencies, the FCC has licensed to RACOM.

La Crosse 463.7500/468.7500

Prairie du Chien 463.9250/468.9250

I doubt RACOM has a trunking site in La Crosse. The only control channels I've heard belong to the La Crosse TRS and Communications Service SMR.

wiradio, in response to your first post, i tried looking up the FCC listing for the tower that i listen to in Rochester and i couldnt find any local listings for a RACOM system in rochester so i went about it another way by looking at all the licenses RACOM holds and the only one i could find for a TRS is for WPIZ405 which is just a statewide license for Iowa, but nothing for any of the other states that are known to have RACOM in it such as MN, IL or SD. I dont know of any local users of RACOM here in ROchester and the majority of the traffic, and i suspect the reason for its existence in Rochester is for all of the Medical crews coming up here such as Ambulances and Helicopters. The only other traffic i have ever heard coming off of the Rochester tower is the Daily Net and Network Maintenance.

I wish i knew more about EDACS systems, but is there any possiblity that you can set up an EDACS system similar to how Pilots turn on the lights at a rural airport by keying the airports frequency, in that it is only on when it is needed to be on and not creating a trunking CC when it is not needed?

I guess its possible, maybe the conventional frequencies licensed to RACOM in La Crosse and Prairie du Chien are used to activate trunking systems.

The "La Crosse" site is more likely in MN near La Crescent:
861.3875 LCN 1
862.3875 LCN 2
863.3875 LCN 3
864.3875(?) LCN 4?
865.3875(?) LCN 5?

I don't believe there is a Prairie du Chien site.
