Cheyenne County, Nebraska, hmmmm.....I didn't know RACOM had operations clear out in the panhandle.

They are alive and well here in Norfolk, however, rumor has it they may be pulling the plug on RACOM and moving everybody over to Nebraska DTRS "N-WIN" system once the dust settles.

RACOM could take care of their conventional system.

As for NWIN, they will have to add more channels to the sites for more agencies other then NSP, G and P, NDOR, and NPPD to use it.

That list may not be entirely accurate any more. Customers like Sioux City have left the RACOM EDACS system.

It will be interesting to see where RACOM chooses to go with their network and their customers now that Harris has announced end of life for EDACS.

I certainly agree. Just the 3 channels (including the alt control channel) will load up fast, especially during large scale events. It gets rather busy at times already with NPPD/NSP loading channels up.
