I have read that the Radar box data base is not very user friendly, and editing is very time consuming and does not all ways work as old data will be written over correct info you put in.

Can some one clear this up for me?

Thanks

In someways it's true. You have to edit every week!. In my case I didn't want to mess with the database. but I learned the hard way. Found out you have to make changes. Where AirNav Systems Database server should be sending out the correct information to the users. So each user didn't have to do their own edit.

AirNav Systems doesn't have a way to show what information been updated on the AirNav Systems Database server. (like you do for updated radio data on RadioReference).
I'm sure it will be the same way for their AirNav ShipTrax product. Where every user has to guess when Aircraft or Ship information has been updated on the AirNav database Server.

Another AirNav RadarBox user wanted to see some stuff changed on the database server feed.
and AirNav Systems "Still looking into it" according to a last post from AirNav Support according to that topic.

That and the issue of having the local database updated and the icoa feed errors is what we are looking into.
Type codes in the database

Each RadarBox user has to make the changed on the company name of the aircraft.
AirNav Systems wont make the changes on the main database before it gets sent to each user.

Another thing you notice some topics will go without any forum support from AirNav Systems.
This user been waiting since May 29th,2009 for a reply!
