Radio Channel Layout

I'm looking for any information anyone in Suffolk County might have relating to the physical channel layouts for 3 different FD's (I don't mean frequencies, I mean what channel 1, channel 2, etc is on the actual FD portables.)

The 3 departments I'm looking at:
North Patchouge
Medford
Holtsville

Why? I did several years as a FF and I can see no reason to keep that a secret. It only takes a little careful listening to find out anyway.

I'm not sure why. I freely release channel plans of my agency radios and have collected many a channel plan over the years. I find that programming a particular scanner's bank to match a target agency channel plan very helpful. When someone on PD F1 (say, in my scanner channel 201) says "Go to 9" all I have to do is press manual, 9, manual and, viola, I can pick up the rest of the conversation.

i think that releasing the channel layout is more benign that releasing the actual frequency or pl tone.
since i've been involved in the radio hobby i've liked to collect frequency layout's.back in the day,i was a security officer at my local medical center.when i was assigned to the emergency room and time allowed, i would go out to the ambulance's that came in from the various town's and jot down the printed channel plan that they used to have on placards by the radio.since most mobile radio's now have the alpha tagged channel's,they don't need the placards anymore.i got a few police radio plan's that way too.all of the police officer's were cooperative and nice about giving me the frequency plan's.this was pre 9-11 however.i'm not very forthcoming when it come's to giving out frequency information for my agency however.

Unfortunately, many of the PD's & FD's around my area get very touchy about giving out ANY INFO about their radios including frequencies, PL/DPL's and channel plans. This is the post-9/11 world we live in now.
