I drive the 401 between Trafalgar and James Snow just about every day, and on occasion I lose my OPP control channel on the BCD396T, and my Sirius goes into aquisition mode through this stretch (lost signal). I find it odd that both die at the same time. There is also a truck weigh station between these exits. Do you think the MTO is using signal blocking through here? It's the only thing I can think of that could be causing the outage.

Thoughts?

I doubt anyone is blocking signals.

That area is inbetween Fleetnet towers, far enough away from Mississauga's and Ballinafad to be a pain.
What kinda antenna are you using?

With a decent external antenna you should have no issues receiving Ballinafad (Erin) or Mississauga from 401 & Trafalgar.

If you are just using the stock antenna I can see where your problem is since the Bell Fleetnet system wasn't designed for portable coverage.
