I'm just curious as to if the "bleeps" and "clicks" after the radio transmissions mean anything. Does the "bleep" signify an old radio or just the type of sound that radio makes? And if so, do the newer Motorola radios make the bleep or the click? Or again does it depend? Just a random question, thanks in advance. I know the MARCS system digital radios just fade out after transmissions. Is that the new age of radio sounds

Clicks probably mean nothing. Beeps may be generated by a repeater or my an identifier on the radio. On trunking, the radio IDs are sent subaudibly.
