Radio interference and dirty electricity filters.

I was wondering if placing one of those "dirty electricity" filters in a home would have any affect (positive or negative) on radio interference?

Interference will be picked up either through mains or off air (or even within the scanner itself).. There will be a lot of work to narrow down the interference (as there may be many, many sources) and reducing or hopefully eliminating them one by one if they are within your own confines.. if the interference comes from a neighbor, good luck with that!!!
There is NO solve all solution...
