How often is the CD scheduled for updates?

The CD-ROM will be released in October and April of every year. This first release will be available towards the end of October. The database "freeze" or "cutoff" point to make the release will be around October 1st.

Just to stoke the fire and everyone's interests, here are the cover graphics. We put a LOT of time and effort into this release, including the software to run the CD-ROM, development time, admins getting the database updated for October 1st, and the graphic design work.

I'm excited to be releasing this!

The September 2008 RadioReference Newsletter came out today. In the newsletter it talks about the the new CD-ROM.

Did you do the CD sleeve yourself or did you have a designer do it?

The Newsletter takes about 12 hours to send out to 170,000 people who want it. It will be there soon ;-)

Just got my newsletter in my inbox this morning, question (mabey Lindsey can answer it) about the mobile site, will i need to log into the site to access it, or will it just load the database without logging in? Nice to hear there`s a mobile version now, i`ve hoped there would be one ever since i registered for this site. BTW, really great site ya have here so far, now all i gotta do is get my premieum subscription, then i`ll be all set . N9NRA
