Radio reference vs home patrol database

The radio reference dtatabase gets updated how come the Home Patrol database doesnt match?
Will they update this soon or what?

The HP database is updated periodically (weekly, I believe). Changes in the RRDB will show up in the next HP update - which could be up to a week after the actual RRDB change.

Uniden downloads the entire RR database weekly, but then runs it through its own program which selectively removes things like encrypted channels and talkgroups, before making it available every Monday for HP users to update.

It will never "match" the RR database.

When I come across data in the RR database that I want in my HP-1, I use ARCPatrol to download from RR and create my own Favorites list for the HP-1, for example the PG County MD P25 system, which is not included in the Uniden updates because it doesn't do hybrid type II P25 (TDMA) although at some times ( like Mutual Aide), many of the fire talkgroups are in FDMA which the HP can handle.
