Make that dealers not deals in PA.

I live in Johnstown, Cambria County, which seems like Radio Shack is the only dealer of scanners around.

Though, my question is, does anyone know of any scanner dealers around surrounding counties like maybe Indiana, Bedford, Clearfield, Allegheny, Somerset, etc, that deals in new and "used and obviously tested" scanners?

Basically in my area, there is nothing but 450-470MHZ, so all I would really like to get is maybe 2 or 3 handhelds that cover this range and have a 3.5mm jack but not crystals.

Does anyone know of any scanner dealers in PA that cover what I am talking about, because obviously Radio Shack doesn''t deal with older and used scanners.

I have tried searching area yellow pages and doing Google Searches but nothing comes up, but I would have to think some area somewhat near to me would have to have a scanner shop, but many places in my area and surrounding counties seem to fit under the NO Website category.

I used to do a lot of driving from state to state and sometimes I would stop
at the big truck stops and sometimes they have the small cb radio shops that
cater to the truckers. These shops sometimes carry new and used scanners
and are usually located near an interstate highway intersection at a truck stop
or near by. You might try looking around for these or even looking through the
yellow pages for some of these.

Why would you buy at a local brick and mortar store? I live in Pittsburgh, but have purchased both my scanners online - one new from Canada and one used from England off Ebay. Neither unit was available locally and I was very happy with both transdactions. Research exactly what you want, then locate the unit online.
