Hello there, I currently live in the UK but will be moving to Berlin, Germany.
I've been scanning as a hobby for a couple of years now, mainly working with Uniden 125 & Whistler TRX2.
I read that my TRX2 wouldn't be compatible in Germany...
Does anyone have any advice on this?
Also how would I find frequencies in Berlin? There doesn't seem to be a german alternative to Radio Reference UK?
Any leads would be greatly appreciated - even just stores where I might be able to buy compatible equipment!!
Many thanks :)

All German emergency services are all on a system called the BOS system. It is UHF TETRA and fully encrypted. Beyond that, you'll find things like amateur radio, PMR, Marine and Air. Though I'm not at all familiar with the laws regarding scanning.

I'm happy with amateur radio, PMR, Marine and Air - do you know how I would find these frequency allocations so I can programme the scanner?
