How well does this antenna perform in the 30-50 Mhz VHF Low Band when fully extended? Does the center-load really make up for the relatively short 26" length?
It works ok - not great, but better than the standard antenna that comes with most scanners. Fully extended it appears to do much better in the 108-136 MHz range
