Radio Shack 800Mhz antenna on a BC346XT

Bought one from Radiohack yesterday but dosent seem to fit on the adapter. Anyone have any recommendations on which connector i should get. I could have swore it fit before.

Same here - it fits perfectly on my 396XT adapter & that's the only thing I use on 800MHz.

I also have problems with the RS 800 antennas and the BNC/SMA adapters. I bought two Uniden BNC/SMA adapters about a year ago. There seems to be a very tight fit when I put the 800 antenna on. Not sure if its the antenna or the adapter. I have 4 RS 800 antennas and I have to mix & match to find the right combination that go on easy.

Figured out the problem seem part of the antenna had broken off into the hole of the adapter.

I have 3 RS800 ducks, two fit fine one will not fit at all on the Uniden bnc adapter so i use it on another scanner.....

BNC/SMA adapters is loose on my radio too put some pipe tape on got tight on the radio .....wish they will come out with a BMC on this scanner !

Here's an idea. Why Radio Shack can't come up with an 800Mhz SMA antenna. I'd buy 3 of them. But that would be too easy
