if you do can you tell me if this is a Rad Shack cable or ??

hmmmmm wonder why it will not work with ScanCat Lite and the USB/Serial adapter?

It could be the adapter that is giving you the problems. Have you ever used it with other PRO-XX scanners?

That's also the same as the ones I bought from Radio Shack and off eBay.
