Radio Shack Pro-197 VS GRE PSR-600 Scanner

I'm wanting to upgrade to a Digital Scanner. I have been looking at the Radio Shack Pro-197.
I also have been looking at the GRE PSR-600.
Both Seem like good scanners but I would like some feed back from anyone who owne's eather unit to there pro's and con's

They are the same Scanner basically. GRE Makes the Pro 197 for Radio Shack. Depending On Price you get more with the GRE 600 in the box such as programming cable power supply and so on. But the radio is the same guts.

I have both, the power supplies are included with both, A din sleeve is with 197 but not with 600.

Both are outstanding scanners. The 600 is fixed mounted in auto din slot/without sleeve and a pair of 197's here at PC.

Difference? One 197 purchased at $293.00, second 197 purchased at $320.00 and 600 purchased at $516.00.

I stand Corrected.. I was thinking of the Pro 106 ..not the 197, its what I get for Posting on lil or no sleep, thanks fmon

197 doesn't include the USB cable correct? I maybe wrong as all my units were used (no radio shack here to buy from)

And the 197 has a printed manual and DIN so it's a trade off.

Other then that exactly the same with a name change on the case.
