Well there was a hamfest in Burford ON today which is just west of Brantford, I went there hoping to find a frequency counter.. none were to be found.
However went to this one table and I spotted this RS Pro 2025 mobile scanner! Still new in the box original sticker price was $229.00 I got it for $35!
He had a slightly better model that scanned the 800MHZ but I didn't have the money the guy wanted for it... heard there is another Hamfest in Hamilton this Oct.
I've already got a portable 100 channel scanner in the van, so I might use this one at home as a base scanner.. anybody here ever used it at home successfully?
Thanks!
