Radio Shack PRO-2066

I have recently acquired a Radio Shack PRO-2066. I am having a heck of a time understanding the setup of this.
I would like to do a reset and clear all of the old data from it. any help here would be greatly appreciated.
Can i program/configure it with software? Where can i get it?

The procedure below clears the scanner's memory. A text version of the owners manual is attached. I don't believe this radio can be computer programmed. It is well over 20 years old and has limited features by today's standards.

RESETTING THE SCANNER
If the scanner's display locks up or does not work properly, you might
need to reset the scanner.
CAUTION: This procedure clears all the information you have stored into
the scanner. Before you reset the scanner, try turning it off
and on to see if it begins working properly. Reset the scanner
only when you are sure it is not working properly.
1. Turn off the scanner.
2. While you hold down the 2 and 9 keys, turn on the scanner. CLEAr
flashes for about 8 seconds as the scanner clears its memory.
Note: Do not turn off the scanner until CLEAr stops flashing. Otherwise,
the scanner might not clear its memory properly.

I would like to listen to 2meter 70 cm and airband

The reset procedur worked fine, now all of the the old owners preferences cleared, now I can spend some more time with the manual and see if I can get it to work (see if I can figure it out)
