Has anyone else noticed that on the Radio Shack website, that the Pro 95 is actually cheaper than the Pro 94. What is up with that, anyone have any clue as to why? If you may have any information , please let me know. If the Pro 95 is actually cheaper, I will be more prone to purchase the Pro 95. Trying to make up my mind as to which to purchase.

It might be just a matter of supply. If there are more 95's than 94's in RadioShack inventory, it is in the company's best interest to sell those units first. Then they would eliminate the sale price after some of the excess inventory has been sold.

I[/b]]The Pro-95 is being replaced soon (now?) by the Pro-97. Hence the really low price.

I have both, and the 94 has some features that I really miss on the 95, but the 95 recieves and holds an 800 MHz freq. MUCH BETTER than the 94. Get the 95 on sale!

Why is the PRO-95 now selling for $149.99? Doesn't clearance mean once they are sold out, it is gone?
They have not sold out yet.

I did as well - even mentioned that the 94 was an older, yet more expensive model. Never did get an answer why.

They're both good radios, but I do like the 95 a bit better.

I was in RS a few days ago. They told me the company bumped up scanner prices by twenty bucks, even the PRO 95 on clearance. Thus the $149.99 price tag, rather than the $129.99 price tag earlier. :x

I saw that as well, but they also dropped the 2051 down to $149.00. Wish I could come up with a good enough excuse to get one... :D

I gues I'll just hold out for a good digital sale...
