radio shack pro 96 digital scanner

I orderd from ebay last friday a used digital scanner and it got shipped out today to come to me how is the pro 96 radio shack scanner this going to be my first digital scanner is this scanner easy to program for my state and county my county is using the p25 system kalispell montana area so let me know how to program it and how good this scanner is

Get a good software program to program the scanner. I have one, it works great and is a good scanner but use software and the RR data base to program it.

The Radio Shack Pro96 can not do VHF explicit mode p25 trunking so it may not be able to handle this system: Montana Statewide Interoperable Public Safety Radio System Trunking System, Statewide, Montana - Scanner Frequencies
It is a great scanner and should work fine on the other systems listed for your location in the data base.
