I will never order from RS headquarters again. I ordered the scanner on Monday specifying OVERNIGHT shipping. I said this three times to the woman and she said OK and the charge will be an extra $60.00. I checked the UPS tracking number last night and they sent it 2nd day and still charged me the $60.00 shipping! I know that they will refund the shipping but it's just the thought that I HAD TO WAIT AN EXTRA DAY FOR THE SCANNER!!!!!!

Yeah, I'm not too happy with them either. People from Alaska can't order through their website. Plus, the only shipping they offer for Alaska is regular US Post Office.

It's just stupid and non-sense. In this time and age they still treat Alaska like a foreign country. I buy and sell stuff all the time over the web and send/receive stuff through UPS, Fed-Ex and DHL overnight for reasonable prices.

I don't care whatever the reason or policy they have for Alaska, they should change it. I have wrote to them before and they either didn't get it or gave me the usual corporate run-around....

They're lucky they have a good product with the scanners they sell because otherwise I would buy from someone else.

I think I could wait a couple days before I would spend $60 on shipping. Just seems kinda silly.
