Anybody know of a radio shop in the MoCo (or surrounding area) that might sell me a programming cable? Trying to avoid delays and shipping charges associated with Ebay. (I'll admit, I'm also a bit impatient)

One could also ask, why do you need to program an XTS-series radio except to be on a TRS? If you're planning on using it as an over-priced scanner for a system that you're not authorized to be on, the communications center will brick your radio once they see that you're affiliated with their TRS. If you're legitimately supposed to be on the system, then have the radio shop responsible for it handle the programming.

Just sayin'.

Don't be so quick to jump on someone for wanted to use and program a Motorola XTS. Motorola XTS radios are used on conventional frequencies in both analog and P25 all time. Many ham repeaters on P25 and not using crappy Dstar. People posting on this board need a life and something else do, since many want to be one person radio police. I for one see no reference in this post to using on a TRS, so until more information is posted will support the original poster.
