I live in riverside county and since RR has put up that RADIO TECHS ID, I have no idea what it is for. Does anyone know? I also put in my pro-95 scanner and it didn't sound that interesting.

Usually, radio techs (the guys that maintain the systems in question) set aside frequencies or talkgroups for their use. They might chit-chat, troubleshoot or whatever in those, all in a days work.

they like to chat alot allthough they do not sound too professional lately they are testing a new repeater out by Hemet they are driving around giving checks to a police official posted at the high school.

IE-Scanner.org? That site has been gone since July 2003. It's too bad that he took it down.
I've still got MY site up, but it needs a MAJOR revision, and I don't have the time to work on it. I've placed a disclaimer on the top of the main page warning that some data is out-dated.
