Went shopping at the craft store with the XYL recently and while wandering the cake baking aisle
came upon a thing called a cake decorating turntable (think lazy susan). It occurred to me that it would be
perfect for my AM portable when trying to rotate the radio to peak/null a station.
It's plastic but does have nice ball bearing action, turns very smoothly, less than 10 bucks... works great.

Yep it makes a great addition to the shack. I use one when working on smaller radios to spin it around when making repairs.

Many years ago, probably on the order of 40+ years back, living in an apartment and trying to BCB DX, I had a loop antenna wound on a plastic milk crate, and I had the loop setting on a lazy susan. I could turn the loop and null out BC stations. Worked about as good as any antenna I have ever had in an apartment.
