The Radioddity GD-88 manual specifies six encryption modes: None, Low, Mid, High, Enhance, or AES256.
While the first and sixth are clear, the other four are not.
Can anyone help?

If I had to guess.... I'd say low/mid/high would be some sort of basic privacy with different key sizes, and enhance could be ARC4.

Either that, or some proprietary CCR ciphers. I suspect this is probably the wrong forum for this question though, should have probably been put into one of the radio forums instead, probably budget I suspect.

Regardless, If you are really that curious, you might record some samples, noting which encryption mode you select and the key, and provide them for further analysis.

AES256 is for DMR; lo, med, hi, and enhanced is various levels of voice inversion for analog.
