Running Radiofeed 8.1 and cannot get Let's Encrypt to work. Unsecure HTTP works, and I have set up port forwarding, but I sill get Challenge Failed. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Can you temporarily disable any antivirus software to see if that helps.

If it still doesn't work then verify your ISP is not blocking port 80 and the Port Forwarding is setup correctly by
1. Start the server using port 80 in the unsecure mode.
2. Use Open Port Check Tool -- Verify Port Forwarding on Your Router to see if the server can be seen or not.

Disabled Windows Firewall and confirmed Port 80 works in unsecure mode - still no luck. Is it possible to see the detailed Let's Encrypt response in order to see why the Challenge failed?

Offhand, I don't believe the Challenge exemption shows any details on why it fails. You may want to try Wireshark or another sniffer to verify that.

I still cannot get RadioFeed to work. Has anyone actually been successful using 8.1 with HTTPS?

What exactly are you having trouble with?
The validation process or something else?
What have you tried to resolve the issue?

Every time I try to get a Let'sEncrypt certificate, it pops up error message with Challenge failed. I have successfully reached my local PC from outside to confirm it is reachable (in HTTP mode).

I reached out to Let's Encrypt help forum and received this response. Is there anything helpful there? Thanks.

It appears that RadioFeed does not support Let's Encrypt certificates currently. Maybe they changed the way it works?

The validation process?

You may want to google 'how to get a letsencrypt cert standalone' or just use this. Cetbot Client It worked for me years ago when I was doing testing this area.

Cannot go the manual cert way, as RadioFeed does not host a file structure where files can be written and read, at least not that I can find.

Oh Please. Many people are using RadioFeed and ProScan wth x509 certs. RadioFeed uses the same code as ProScan.
You might be thinking of the DNS-01 challenge method. RadioFeed uses the HTTP-01 challenge method which supports the 'well-known/acme-challenge' file.

Obtaining a cert the 'manual cert way (Cetbot Client) has nothing to do with RadioFeed.

{edit{ I may not respond any longer if the false info continues.

I read all your posts on the letsencrypt support site. I see you are getting an error using 'Certify the Web'
That proves it's not a RadioFeed problem unless you have RadioFeed Web Server running on port 80.cI used 'Certify the Web' in the past.

Also why the heck are you mentioning the Source Client feature? That isn't a server.

Since 'Certify the Web' failed, I would double and triple check the following:
1. Check that the domain name is correct and can be accessed using non-secure http
2. Port 80 is not blocked
3. Port Fowarding is setup correctly
4. Temporarly disable all anti-virus software
