Obama stayed in Richmond last night (don't know where) and is speaking today. I had to turn him down for veep, so he's gonna try Gov. Kaine. <g>

No USSS traffic noted on the field office channel, or Baker, Charlie, Mike or Sierra. I have noted encrypted traffic on 168.375 [NAC 167], which I think is ICE.

This is a surprisingly quiet visit, even on local/state police channels.

During the 2004 G8 Summit, near my old hometown there was plenty of traffic in the clear prior to the arrivals of heads of state. Not too long after everyone arrived I heard nothing but noise .Of course I didn't have a digital scanner back then either . Who knows how much I might have heard.
