This probably is a silly question, but I'll ask it anyways. I have the 20-176 antenna mounted to the roof of my house that I was using for my scanners. Can this antenna be used to transmit from a Ham radio? I am new to Ham, taking my test on thursday and starting to get my shack together so that I can start transmitting once my license comes in.
