Yup, that sounds like total BS.
No one has posted here yet about a DOA 668

I pretty sure it is. Considering leaving a red, only reason why I haven't yet is I know these type of sellers have multiple accounts and they more likely will try to retaliate. I am pretty sure they are testing the market, or make it seem like they sold cheap to decrease the value so they can buy some cheap to resell later. I seen this type of crap pulled before, as they do this with other collectables, or niche market items.

Another listing that was suppose to be started at $199 with free shipping and had option for best offer and the seller cancels it. I been seeing a high rate of these type of listings where sellers are not completing transaction and refunded you after listing ends, or canceling the listing early.

This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available.

They are seeing highrr listings and want yo get more money. The problem id that hundreds have been dumped on the market for $100 and people who wanted one grabbed them online in the $200 range so good luck sellingvthem higher in a safurated market

Doubt any will sell high for at least months to come, way to many on the market, as you said most that want them are buying them now. Hence reason why put the cheap listing up when I see them, so others can get some before prices go up. I have spares, so last thing I need is more.

Only looking for only one for someone else as they ask me to a couple days ago, as store locally ran out and I only have two new ones left and really don't want to sell those, but more likely going to spare it, as not really needed and was going to sell it down the road anyways. Only need one for myself and have the Whistler.

But don't worry, with people buying 20 @ $100, pretty soon they will have to price them at $150 to move them out and get some money back. They do not appear to be selling at all at $225

The max is $210 is what I am seeing people pay for them on eBay and that sitting and most are going for under $199 daily so far. The most I paid for the first one was $200, as at that time was only going to buy one for myself only, That was early on when they were still fetching $299 on eBay. The other four were $150 and paid around $162 after tax at the store and only bought those as at the time a good deal and had a couple friends that wanted one and received as a trade a TEAC X700R and a new Uniden bcd396xt I been wanted, so worked out.

Unfortunately around here $150 was the cheapest I seen them go for in the stores and was checking on my way back from work daily at the last three RadioShack that was still open in my area till the day they close. More likely due to the fact live in a big city, so more people know about them and scanners were gone way before they hit 80% to 90% clearance. Wish they would have had some at the $99 price range. Pretty sure they flew out the door.

I personally check every item before shipping and my last 6 were no good. The screen seems to be blackened and it does not boot up either, so to avoid problems with you having to return the item for a refund I am letting you know why the item was refunded.

Yes normally you would check your items BEFORE you list the auction, not after you sell the item.
At least that is what I do.

I bought off him too same thing happened exact same words! I was kinda poed cause I bought a 3 yr warranty I had to call and cancel that ! Kinda strange he realized they were doa 15 mins after he sold them! I ended up buying one for 230.00

Not that I needed another scanner I already have 4 I have a pro-96,106,99 ,older bearcat I figured it was a good deal I hope it picks up better then the 106 the 96 picks up real well but I get a lot of screeching sound like a fax machine on digital transmissions

good! I see theirs a few on there in 200 range guess I should have waited just figured better get it before the price went up I don't know of any store closings close or I would of just bought one there for 150.00

If you wait during the middle of the day they usually drop to $180 range, or lower, as quite a few people have these that are trying to get rid of them. I pick up one for $179 yesterday. $207 is not bad still for phase 2 scanner, just seller making more money. Sometimes if you message them they will drop the price some and sent a offer.
