Radioshack Pro-82 Scanner AC Adapter

I ordered a "generic" power adapter for my grandmother's Radioshack Pro-82 scanner from Amazon, but it turns out I will be sending it back as it is not a low noise plug and causes serious interference while plugged in while receiving transmissions. Does anyone know where I can get a plug for her radio that won't cause noise and static?

I have used one from Menard's on my Pro-651 with good success but with these modern switching power supplies you are just rolling the dice. Some work well, some are extremely noisy. I would search for "low noise AC-DC adapter" in the voltage/rating your scanner needs and start from there.
