You can't lock out all the banks. there should always be at least one channel open. Thats for the pro-96 and 2096.

Whereas (by hand) you cannot lock out all the banks, you can lock out all of the channels on a Pro-96/2096. Doing so will cause the scanner to display the message: All channels Locked out!

What would you have it do? Lock out all but one and 'scan' that one?

Seems that it is intelligent that it tells you when all channels are locked out.

I guess I just don't understand the purpose of the original question.

i had this happen on my 92 and 95 a few times each.... never did figure out the reason on the 92 but on the 95 i had all the banks on the settings page turned off....

Good question. If you do, just press <MAN>ual and unlock something. If you don't, just press <PGM> and put something in it.
