To get things back on topic here.....

I have the same question as charles. Can you listen to different "banks"? Or only one agency/TG/Freq at a time?

We are all in this hobby together. Let's all get along and support one another in this hobby, and be thankful we have a site like RR with every imaginable resource available to us scanner freaks

Yes, you can listen to multiple systems or conv freqs.. The scanner IS a scanner. Its just missing a bunch of button's ;-) You can customize what TG's you can listen to thru the software it comes with.

An SD memory card reader is required for using the radio software.

Make sure the "Cut-Off" switch on the left side of the radio is set to the on position (keeps the radio from powering on when in transit like world band radios) otherwise the radio will not power on.

The stock antenna does well for VHF/UHF and local 800. The RS 800 MHz antenna does an excellent job for pulling in the distant 800 systems. (in my case Denver and Aurora simulcast systems).
