With the holiday season now upon us, we at W2LIE.net want to wish everyone on RadioReference a healthy and happy holiday season.


W2LIE is hosting a raffle event to help raise money for the John Theissen Children's Foundation.
The John Theissen Children's Foundation is a charity from Long Island, NY that helps families in need throughout the year by:

• [FONT=Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]Providing hospitals and child-care facilities with therapeutic and recreational equipment[/FONT]
• [FONT=Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]Support families with financial assistance to defray medical expenses[/FONT]
• [FONT=Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]Offer sick and needy children toys throughout the holiday season[/FONT]
• [FONT=Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]Fulfill patient's (ages birth to 18 years old) wishlists throughout the year[/FONT]
• [FONT=Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]Assist sick and underprivileged children[/FONT]

We've put together a raffle, with some prizes generously donated from some names you may recognize as a scanner listener (such as ScannerMaster, and Butel)!
Tickets are $5 a piece, or you can purchase 6 tickets for the price of 4!
The grand prize will be a new scanner.
Raffles and Donations will be collected until Saturday December 20th, 2008 11.59pm EST. The drawing will be on December 20th.
