Railfan communications

What freqs do railfans in nc use to talk to each other cb,ham, frs, gmrs ect ?

Not sure they really do that anymore. Used to be hams who were railfans would use a handful of simplex frequencies. Most "railfans" and/or "foamers" will use online technology these days...

during special events and such, my friends and I use 151.880 which is one of the license free Multi Use Radio Service channels to communuicate to one another.
