Not quite Lake County, and not near a yard - but I'm very close to the CSX single-track mainline. Have the road frequency of 160.230 and the PBX frequency of 160.320 programmed into several receivers. There's always traffic of some type or another to be heard. My scanner antenna isn't all that high in the air but I can still receive train comms from Munroe Falls clear through Warwick.
Its the channel that the CSX trains between Cleveland and Erie change over to when they need to speak directly with the IH dispatcher on the mainline. Its used for copying train orders, reporting issues with the train, etc.
Its a very active channel and is sometimes busier than the road channel (160.86) itself.
