Being a firefighter and a fire history buff my latest project/fascination is with the former Rainbow Control in the Westmoreland County area. Does anybody have any information on this former dispatch center? Web links, pictures, audio/video? Anybody have the information on the years it was in service? The departments that were dispatched by them and/or the "colors" they were assigned?
Living on the other side of the state I never knew about this center until recently and it is very interesting to me so I am trying to find out as much as I can about it.
