Douglas County has opened its Emergency Operations Center for a forest fire up Hwy67 in the Rainbow Falls area and evacuations of the Rainbow Falls area and some Deckers Camp grounds are in progress. Many Douglas County SO officers are on the way. I am hearing the info on Douglas County SO Ch-1 or Main much of the details are on Douglas County Channel-C and D

#TroutCreekFire in western Douglas County is 15-20 acres, per USFS; 20 crew members, 2 SEAT (small tankers) and a helicopter on scene.

Heard on FERN 1 that 100% containment is expected tonight. Hope so because that fire is a lot closer to my house than the Waldo Canyon fire.
