HAS ANYONE FIGURED OUT THIS ONE? THE CONTROL CENTER IS ON PRINCE ST. BECKLEY. IN THE CITY POLCE BLDG. EVERYTHING IS DISPATCHED FROM THERE. I HEAR SHERIFF'S DISP. ON 158.82 BUT THE CARS ONLY COME IN IF THEY'RE 2 BLOCKS AWAY. CITY AND COUNTY CAN GO BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN 158.82 AND 155.13. WHAT SORT OF SYSTEM IS THIS? ......i'm new, can you tell?

For the county, I don't know the freq. comming out of prince st. at one time I thought it was in the 450's or 460's mhz. It is broadcast up to the tower on Harper Rd. From there it is sent on different ctcss for different tower to send out. EMS 155.175 is done in much the same way with county fire. Over all on the police freq. it will always broadcast 155.925 with ctc/dcs 71. When the State Police is in the Beckley area close enough to 911 the will send out 158.820 dcs 54. They are a bit more info on this site.
With the city EOC sends out on the main freq. 155.130 but the car sends out 159.030 to the tower and then it is repeated to 155.130.
