Well, I programmed in all the old RPD UHF frequencies and once I heard some brief traffic on the "Raleigh 2" channel, but with all the trucks on the road (I was out there too - they were out en mass), I thought I would have heard more.

Along the same lines, I had all the DOT Low Band channel in the scanner too - not a peep. Wonder if they haven't moved over to VIPER somewhere?

Did anyone hear anything anywhere?

I thought the same thing about the NCDOT channels. I plugged them all in, with a tone search (just in case) and ran it all night and not a peep. I had VIPER running on my other scanner too and all I heard was various county's EM channels, but definitely no DOT on VIPER. Interesting...

yea i wish someone would find dot channels ive always wanted to track them during storms and such

Amen to that. I have always had the 47.XXX freqs (listed in the database) in my scanner and never heard a peep even in foul weather.
