Hey All,

I have been listening to a Railroad Channel 161.520mhz and on occasion it seems like there is a clicking sound that keeps the receiver open. Seems like local communications over powers the clicking sound.

Anyone have some suggestions on what might be causing it?

Attached is a audio file.

Thanks,
Cole

Sounds like an open Mic a distance away and either you or the open mic are moving, so the signal is "picket fencing"

I heard the same thing on 161.52 the other day, I thought it was something in my house, it went away after a while. Where are you located, I am in Littleton, Ma.
