Here is an update on their changes from looking more at Rappahannock Electric Cooperative. I will try looking at the other sites which cannot be heard from my home next week.

System code site number-Location-Frequency(channel number)
c=control channel
Frequency for current control channel is listed first;
others are in frequency order.
1 Fredericksburg (Spotsylvania Co.) 217.08125(15c/16) 217.14375(25/26)
2 Bowling Green (Caroline Co.) 217.30625(51c/52) 217.11875(21/22) 217.20625(35/36)
3 Blakey Ridge/Banco (Madison Co.) 217.03125(7c/8) 217.09375(17/18) 217.15625(27/28) 217.21875(37/38)217.28125(47/48)
4 King William (King William Co.) *
5 Mineral (Louisa Co.) 217.04375(9c/10) 217.13125(23/24) 217.19375(33/34) 217.25625(43/44)
6 Dunbrooke (Essex Co.) *
7 Linden Mtn. #2(Warren Co.) 217.06875(13c/14) 217.23125(39/40) 217.29375(49/50)
8 Hogback Mtn.(Warren Co.) 217.05625(11c/12) 217.18125(31/32) 217.24375(41/42)
9 Berryville (Clarke Co.) *
10 Dawn/Hanover (Caroline Co.) *
11 Paytes (Spotsylvania Co.) 217.16875(29c/30) 217.10625(19/20)
12 Hustle/Loretto (Essex Co.) *

* Updated information pending.

Someone else can go to the trouble to submit this to the database-
I am too busy with other projects.

(For those interested, the unused by RVEC region-site is found as
in this example for site number 6 (from 01.00000000.0110 in DSD+):
0110(bin)=6 (dec) -> 110 (bin) -> 01 10 -> 1 2 -> 1+1 2+2 -> 2.3 or 2-3.
But I emphasize the region-site numbers given by this example and
in RadioReference are *not* used by this system.)

Here is a complete? update for the system (I finally visited Berryville to complete it today).
Sorry about the formatting but RR deletes repeated blanks at times.

Frequency for current control channel("c") is listed first.
System code site number-Location-Frequency(channel number)
1 Fredericksburg (Spotsylvania Co.) 217.08125(15c/16) 217.14375(25/26)
2 Bowling Green (Caroline Co.) 217.30625(51c/52) 217.11875(21/22)
217.20625(35/36)
3 Blakey Ridge/Banco (Madison Co.) 217.03125(7c/8) 217.09375(17/18)
217.15625(27/28) 217.21875(37/38)
217.28125(47/48)
4 King William (King William Co.) 217.24375(41c/42) 217.03125(7/8)
217.09375(17/18) 217.18125(31/32)
5 Mineral (Louisa Co.) 217.04375(9c/10) 217.13125(23/24)
217.19375(33/34) 217.25625(43/44)
6 Dunbrooke (Essex Co.) 217.05625(11c/12) 217.21875(37/38)
217.28125(47/48)
7 Linden Mtn. #2(Warren Co.) 217.06875(13c/14) 217.23125(39/40)
217.29375(49/50)
8 Hogback Mtn.(Warren Co.) 217.05625(11c/12) 217.18125(31/32)
217.24375(41/42)
9 Berryville (Clarke Co.) 217.04375(9c/10) 217.11875(21/22)
10 Dawn/Hanover (Caroline Co.) 217.06875(13c/14) 217.29375(49/50)
11 Paytes (Spotsylvania Co.) 217.16875(29c/30) 217.10625(19/20)
12 Hustle/Loretto (Essex Co.) 217.15625(27c/28) 217.26875(45/46)

Repeater inputs are 2 MHz higher.
Many frequencies are used at more than one repeater site.
Channel number: For REC, you can convert it to a frequency as follows:
1. If it is even, then let x=that number
2. If it is odd, then let x=that number + 1 (the next even number)
Those two steps take care of the fact that this is two channel TDM so
each frequency has two channel numbers (one odd channel number and
the next even channel number).
3. Now calculate x*0.00625+216.98125

(For those interested, the unused by RVEC region-site is found as
in this example for site number 6 (from the 0110 binary 01.00000000.0110
in DSD+): 0110(bin)=6 (dec) -> 110 (bin) -> 01 10 -> 1 2 -> 1+1 2+2 -> 2.3
or 2-3. But I emphasize the region-site numbers given by this example and
in RadioReference are *NOT* used by this system.)

3: 1, 5, 7, 8, 11 9: 7, 8

The LCN numbers that I picked up for the Fredericksburg site are 7 and 12, with 7 being the control channel frequency. I understand that these may not be the "real" LCN numbers but are what the Uniden scanners recognize. But with the system programmed as a trunking system in my SDS-100, I believe my WS-1080 still beats it in reception. I'm still comparing though.

I am not sure what that radio is doing to come up with those LCN numbers but it appears that it is using 216.99375 as LCN 0 and then a step size of 0.0125 MHz as frequency channel spacing (Note that DSD+ looking at the control channel gives the two slots separate channel numbers which I show). If you want to change your "LCN" to my above frequency-slot channel numbers, you need to double your number and then add 1 and 2 to get the two slot channel numbers; to do the reverse, subtract 1 (if odd channel number) or 2 (if even channel number) and divide by 2 to get "LCN".. By the way, I visited every site. If there are any frequencies missing, it was not used during my visit.

Not sure where I found the information, but in the past I have heard or seen something about them using Tait radios. Highly doubt they're using Motorola based on the frequencies they use. But I'm 90% sure they've got Taits.

Not to bring back an old thread... But I want to confirm if radio traffic is simulcasted across all sites? As far as I can tell it is, but I'm only within range of Mineral and Dawn/Caroline. Can anyone else who's within range of the system confirm or deny this?

If anyone regularly monitors this system, from the Fredericksburg site, I would like to compare notes.

What are you trying to determine?
What jurisdictions the talkgroups are used in and signal codes. I will start monitoring this system more often this summer.

So far I've jotted down some notes.

Fredericksburg Base
TG6011 - Spotsylvania/Orange
TG6041 - Culpeper

Add caroline to 6011 talkgroup. Still trying to figure out 6096. I am not sure if that has to do with substations or broadband services.
