I have been reading through the many threads and wiki articles on using Raspberry Pi to stream scanner audio. I am interested in giving this a go as a replacement to the PCs that I have been using for streaming. The first audio feed I want to experiment with is a private audio feed however I also need it to have the capability of controlling the scanner remotely. Is it possible with the Pi to control a scanner remotely? Specifically talking about a BCD996T or BCT-15X scanner?
I just need to be able to lockout frequencies or turn on/off systems remotely. I haven't been abler to find much info on this. Thanks!!!
