Rat Farts! - Is it me or the SDRsharp software?

After browsing the new SDRSharp manual, I got REAL EXCITED when I came across the baseband recording feature. I mean the thought of recording the top ten minutes of the hour on both sides would make AM-BCB DXing a snap. One could go back in afterwards and get the ID's off of multiple stations. So, I thought I'd try this out because unbelievably, had 10 minutes to spare. Well, I was able to record, but playback does not seem to be working. Is it me or the software? Example below.

Yes, I thought that was obvious too. As you could see in the video, when I tried to click on source nothing happened...



So I tried an alternate method of opening the file...



It ends up playing in an endless loop, without squelch, but upon tying to do something...



I guess I'll pretend this function does not exist until I have more time to learn things.

You should probably stop the RTL dongle first.

Maybe I just have a bad copy of the software? When I click the SOURCE box nothing happens within the program, but does when I attempt to open the file manually.

YEP, it was a bad copy! I dropped 1822 into the directory with my other files and now all is good.

I'm always awaiting a new version, they often make multiple updates per version, some work, some don't. I'm just glad its continued to be a project after a few months of no updates

Yes, I'm very much appreciative to the programming wizards who do bring so much joy to the masses. I've not had this much fun in years.

Thanks. Now I'm waiting on cables and adaptors to get the AM-BCB antenna hooked up. It'll be interesting to see how it works out. After I get the final pieces all together I'll get the video done... with a plug for this place of course.
