ratshack pro-137 clearance

while not being a huge ratshack fan anymore, the shack has the old pro-137 race scanner on clearance for $49.99. a STEAL. while not having ctcss/dcs, it does have a few nice feature's, including alpha tag's,great audio & receive, and a nice sturdy case. may be hard to come by. happy hunting !.

The one I bought, a demo, was listed $49.97. For a basic scanner, it is better than their current "non-discontinued" selection: 20-404, PSR-100, Pro-444, BC-95XLTB, and BC72XLT. I would not buy any of those.

When I got my Pro 106 the other day, I did see that scanner at that price. I didn't need another scanner (plus my wife would have killed me) so I left it alone. It may be some type of unadvertised special or in store only. I have no idea.

just call the fatratshacks in your area, and axe them if they have the radio at that price. expect a few dumb answer's though. yes folks,and i don't even drink.

I got one for 39.99 using a 10.00 off coupon. This scanner is made by Uniden and comes with 2 antennas. The Close Call "Signal Stalker" is one of my favorite features on the Pro-137.

IMHO this is a great scanner for conventional frequencies, it has 1000 channels and you can take the "racing" part out of it....I got one on clearance and it performs exceptionally well in this area and is a handy small size. It uses an SMA type antenna but thats not a big deal to me, it comes with two of them, one of which is a short antenna. ARC137 from BuTel offers a free trial and the 20-047 cable works well with it....you can easily put the scanner in a shirt pocket.

You cannot buy this online as the RS web site does not show it........must be in-store only.
