I am not sure, but I suspect that they are a department that is not super active. so is not in the regular rotation. Most of the activity is short transmissions between units and then huge amounts of time where they are quiet.

type of thing. If they are busy on a project then the key may rotate but until then is out of the regular rotation.

It may also be an Interop type TG set. This too would explain the fixed KID.

I think these are some separate group or something. On the 47xx TG's I noticed that most of the RID's start with 25xx where RCMP are usually 42xx RID's. However I did at some point see 2 42xx RID's show up on one of the 47xx TG's.

I agree the 47xx do tend to use the same RID areas. It is possible that the user is not RCMP (would explain the non rotation) The question then is who could it be. I have seen the TG active on London, Kitchener, Hamilton , Toronto Sites.

The next keyroll should happen tomorrow. With FIFA happening I kind of expect a few new TG to show up on the Toronto/Golden Horseshoe sites.

I just noticed that TG 4702 had a transmission this morning with a new KID of 2607.

It will be interesting to see if the KID rotates next month.

I have noticed that sometimes the KID does not update on the first couple of transmissions. This may be why we have not seen 47xx change? Also has anyone else noticed that the last character of the KID ("7" this month) is the same across all KID groups?

LOL.. ya we will have to keep an eye out on them and see when they decide to update their KID's next. Also I have seen multiple transmissions on the 47xx TG's sometimes daily.. so I am not sure about that.
