RCMP PACS Question

I was just looking around the database and noticed that there are are the same PACS frequencies in use. I thought that the frequencies are used only once in Alberta. Is it possible to have the same PACS frequencies in use in Alberta?

Yes the same repeater frequency could be used many times in Alberta and can be used even more using two PL tones as PACS does. This is an old example but there is enough difference between Edmonton and Calgary that they could use the same frequency and tone say A4. If they use a different tone they could get away with using the same frequency as close as Red Deer A3

In your examples there is a enough distance between Westlock and Elk point that they can use the same frequency and tone..
