Yes.

I was travelling through Weyburn a month ago, and found the RCMP P25 CC operating in the VHF band. I can't recall the frequency off hand but it was between 138 and 140 megahertz.

Richster.

Yeah, everything is switched over east of Regina as well. As of a couple a weeks ago, Yorkton was still on the old system. A friend of mine was playing with a Pro-96, using the VFO tuning to tune aroud the control channel. He found that if he tuned slightly off the frequency that the scanner stopped on while searching, talk group numbers started popping up on his screen. We thought that maybe the reason the scanner may not trunk track is due to some different channel spacing that the scanner will not do. Thoughts?

North Battleford & Meadow Lake isn't on the new system . I suspect they will work north from Regina.

This should not be a problem, but might be if the stepsize for the range
138-144MHz is not correct. For Canadian systems it is 15kHz, not 12.5kHz
which is for the U.S. and I hazard a guess might be the default for that
scanner. If you are seeing numbers ending in .6875, .7125 etc. then it's
the wrong step.
