Hello Folks,

I have been using Trunking Recorder for quite some time now, and it has been excellent. No issues. However, I really like Rdio Scanner and the app for smartphones. I know that Rdio Scanner supports directory watch for Trunk Recorder, but I am wondering if anyone has managed to get Rdio Scanner directory watch to work with the recording directory structure and meta data that Trunking Recorder uses?

Any thoughts, comments, ideas are greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

James

Late reply here, I am currently using Rdio Scanner and I have it setup to ingest calls from trunk recorder via the api. Pretty simple setup and seems to be working good. There is an included sample upload call script that you just need to modify with your unique api key and then setup trunk recorder to trigger the script after each call.

Thanks for the reply. I am using Trunking Recorder. It's a bit different.

So, I've only used Trunking Recorder to ingest calls from SDRTrunk, I've never used it to create output files. However, I was looking at the options and it looks like you can create recordings with custom filenames with all the pertinent metadata in the filename. Theoretically, can you then setup a DirWatch in Rdio-Scanner using the Mask option to extract those details from the filename? Sounds like maybe that's what you've tried and it doesn't work?

I have tried it, and it doesn't work. I suspect it's the meta data isn't a direct match for what rdio is looking for. It's frustrating as the documentation isn't very helpful.
