Got a question regarding RDU CFR Dispatch. I know they have a dedicated dispatch channel on viper but do they carry voice pagers of any kind for when they are either away from the radio or at night?

Most your viper dispatch is simulcast to an analog VHF repeater so that people with pagers will get the alert. Some volunteer members may not been issued radios yet.

As far as RDU CFR their radio usage is all 800Mhz with initial dispatch on their
VIPER ES DISP talkgroup (36160 DEC/8D4 HEX) and on scene comms occurring
(usually) on their own P25 System. If a call at RDU requires mutual aid assistance from Wake County then they will switch to one of the Wake County Mutual Aid TGs (1-5) on VIPER.
There is no VHF usage nor 2 tone paging used by RDU CFR.
