Now that my 2 BCT15s are up graded for re-banded systems [Suffolk Co, NY] will I have to always program the re-banded "band plan" via the scanners key board, or will Butel have a fix to up grade my ARC15?

Are you running the latest version? I don't have a BC15 to test on any longer, but my copy of ARC15Lite allows for setting up custom band plans. I downloaded the information from the RR database and when I select "Motorola 800 Mhz Type II Custom" an "Edit Custom Band Plan" button appears. When I click on that I get a new window that has a custom band plan with upper and lower frequencies, offsets, and steps. I can't verify if it's the correct information, but it's there.

I have version 4.000 build 1.

Yup, works just fine -- I just changed a Motorola system from standard to rebanded ("Custom") with the newest version of ARC15Lite (as described in the quote). However, I had to update the firmware in the BCT15 to the latest version, otherwise I got a "Error creating site. No resources available" message.

For those that don't know what the standard table entries are - I think many programs (including ARC15) populate the custom table automatically if the rebanding flag is set in the database - you can find that information here...

There are a couple out there that need a completely different set of tables; I'm not sure if Suffolk is one of them...

Looking in the database and comparing it to what I saw when I created the system from the RR database, it seems that the custom band plan will be set automatically. Once the OP downloads the current version of ARC15Lite, he should be all set.
